You might remember my write up on Sweet Cakery and Bakery on our Wedding Wednesdays ~ Who We Love! We'll I'm happy to announce that while I have been living in London Grace has opened a cake and coffee shop! I knew while I was in Wellington I would have to stop in for some cake goodness!
It was so nice being back home in New Zealand catching up with friends and Family. I took along my sister Larissa who is also a fellow blogger, you can check out her blog here. Not that she needs any introduction if you're a regular reader you have probably seen her face pop up time and again on the blog. It's been a year since I moved to London so we were in need of some much needed sissy time, what food goes best with gossip? Cakes of course!
As soon as we walked through the door of Sweet Cakery and Bakery I was immediately greeted by rows and rows of beautiful cupcakes and beautifully presented sweet treats. I was like a little kid in a candy store! It was hard to decide what to choose, everything looked so delicious! The best thing about going out with another blogger is understanding that everything must be photographed before eating!
I indulged in a ~ Harney & Sons raspberry tea with white chocolate, raspberry & pistachio rocky road.
Larissa chose ~ a Latte and, a mini somores cup cake.
I loved Sweet Cakery and Bakery's Cake and Coffee shop. It boasts a comfy and cosy vibe with beautiful fresh flowers on the tables, it really is the perfect place for a catch up (especially if you have a sweet tooth). On your way out you can also grab a beautiful bunch of flowers for sale and made daily by Of Noble Nature. If you fancy the best cake and coffee in Wellington, be sure to pop in for a visit ~ shop 3, 149 Karori Road, Marsden Village. They are open Monday - Saturday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.
