High Tea at Sketch

If you read this blog regularly, you will already know that I absolutely love afternoon tea. It's quintessentially British and something you have to do if you come to London. While my Mum was over visiting from New Zealand I thought it would be to nice arrange a few close friends to join us and have "High Tea with Mumsie".

A good friend of mine recommended Sketch to me, and she was right I absolutely love it! Sketch consist of 5 separate rooms, all decorated with stunning decor. Different meals are served in each different room you can go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My favourite without a doubt and probably no surprise is the pink room called 'The Gallery' which serves high tea. There is framed artwork by David Shrigley all over the walls and he also designed the crockery too. The ceilings are high and it has a beautiful plush pink art deco feel.

This whole experience had me feeling like I was Alice in Wonderland! Ready to go down the rabbit hole with me?

Of course we popped a bottle of champers as soon as we sat down. I don't drink coffee myself so I was also happy to find so many beautiful blends of tea to choose from; fresh mint, jasmine, chai and oolong to name a few. How adorable are the cute tea cups?

A trip to the bathrooms at Sketch are a must even if nature isn't calling. I'm not even kidding, the toilets in Sketch are legendary! It's the kind of bathroom that you just have to take a selfie in. Or play hind and seek with one of your besties!

Sketch is a must visit London restaurant its a perfect mix of cool, fabulous, friendly, traditional and modern. We will be back in a hop, skip and a jump that's for sure!
