I am thrilled beyond my wildest dreams to share with you the exciting news that I will be joining the team at Boomrock as their Events & Wedding Coordinator! This is dream job of mine. I really wanted a career that would make me excited to wake up every morning. Being a hopeless romantic at heart, I’ve always loved weddings but planning my own wedding really made me want to get into the events and wedding industry.

This Blog has played a vital part. I loved sharing my special day with you all and documenting it along the way. It has allowed me to combine my passion for design and creativity with my aptitude for organising. Boomrock is one of New Zealand’s most exclusive and stunning venues. I am excited to be given the opportunity of being able to work with a team that obviously loves and is passionate about what they do.

I would suggest if you wanted to get into this career that a hospitality and tourism course would be great to study. It's a good background to have to get into event work. It's a good job to travel with too, as resorts and venues around the world are always need wedding coordinators. Design would also be a good choice to study if you wanted to specialize in styling weddings too. Feel free to message me if I can be of any further help! xx
