Girl's Brunch with a Veiw!

A close friend of mine Rachel, organized a girls brunch at Urban Coterie on the 17th floor of the M by Montcalm Hotel. As soon as I walked through the door I was so impressed and also very glad I had decided to bring along my camera!

Urban Coterie is an ultimate location for girls brunch, not only for the views but also because of the three course menu which includes bottomless mimosas!!! They are doing this special offer for only £32 until the 31st of may 2016 every Saturday and Sunday. The menu is designed by their Michelin-star Chef Anthony Demetre and Head Chef Killian Lynch. This is fine dining without the high price tag while enjoying the beautiful views over London! What more could a girl ask for?

As soon as you step out of the elevator you are greeted with a long impressive corridor. What awaits at the other end is nothing short of spectacular. The decor is beautiful. I was greeted by the hostess with a big smile, as she took my coat and she led me to our table. 

As each of the girls arrived, we sat and chatted, sipping on our mimosa's while the staff were on hand to top up our glasses without a moments hesitation. Now for the hard part...deciding on what 3 dishes to choose from their menu... as they all sounded so delicious!

Each plate that we ordered was expertly cooked and beautifully presented. For the first course I had Duck Confit, Fried Egg, Lentils. I am a huge fan of Duck Confit and this was cooked perfectly with crispy skin and the meat falling off the bone.

Second course I had French Toast, Mascarpone and Blueberries. It was delicious and the perfect balance of creamy and sweet! We were all very impressed by every single plate that came out of the kitchen. 

To finish I had Warm Chocolate Mousse, Almond Sorbet. For any chocolate lover this dish would be a dream come true. However it was a little bit to rich for me, but perfect for my friend. Rachel is a true chocolate lover and was more than happy to finish it off for me.

This restaurant was a great experience. The service is second to none, the food wonderfully delicious and the views simply beautiful! We girls left happily tipsy and our taste buds more than satisfied!
