Anniversary shoot in Paris

There are very precise times in life when I’ve thought to myself, pinch me is this really happening? Such was this moment in Paris.

If you have been following this blog, then you will know that Jake and I spent our first wedding anniversary apart. It's not exactly how I envisioned spending our anniversary with my hubby on the other side of the world in London! Although we were miles apart, he still made sure I was surrounded by friends and family who surprised me by dropping off flowers & gifts throughout the day! We decided since we didn't spend our wedding anniversary together that we would celebrate with a first wedding anniversary shoot.....in Paris!!! I know, a dream right?
For as long as I can remember, I have always been a hopeless romantic and nothing seemed more romantic then to go to my favourite city in the world also known as "the city of love" and celebrate with my husband, our amazing first year of marriage. We were very lucky to have one of my favourite photographers Candy Capco photograph us. I've had the pleasure of working with Candy on numerous occasions while being a wedding planner and am also lucky enough to call her a friend. Thank you so much Candy, Jake and I absolutely adore these photos!

  2. You are making me want to go back to Paris, such beautiful pictures! You look absolutely gorgeous (as usual). I had never thought of doing anniversary photo shoots overseas but since my husband and I will be travelling a bit on our anniversary as it's the best time of year for us to travel normally, it's definitely something I'm really keen to do after seeing this!

    1. Yay! I'm so happy we've inspired you to do an overseas anniversary photoshoot. It's the best because not only do I get to celebrate a special day but doing it overseas means you also get to travel and experience new adventures together <3
